A small product, a simple question, and a bigger ambition for golf.
Why make a golf tee?
I grew up playing golf. After a round, I kept seeing broken plastic tees scattered across the course. I was 16 when I started asking why such a small, disposable part of the game needed to leave that kind of waste behind.
That question became Green Tee Co. We started with bamboo tees because they make an easy change: you tee up, play your round, and choose a material that can biodegrade instead of leaving another piece of conventional plastic behind.
One tee alone is a tiny thing. But golfers make that choice over and over, on courses everywhere. I want Green Tee Co. to grow from this first product into a South African brand that makes more thoughtful choices feel natural in golf.
